The Evolve Fight Team will be competing again in the next Martial Combat Fighting Championship, Asia's largest and most prestigious MMA event. It will be held on August 18-19 at Resorts World Sentosa. It is broadcast by ESPN StarSports to over 350 million viewers across 24 countries.
Led by Professor Rafael Gordinho Correa and Kru Chatri Sityodtong, the Evolve Fight Team is a collection of some of the best world champions and martial artists in the world in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-JItsu, Boxing, No-Gi Grappling, and Mixed Martial Arts.

No-Gi BJJ World Champion joins Evolve

The 2007 No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, Takeo Antonio Tani, has joined the highly decorated Evolve Instructor Team as a BJJ instructor in Singapore. He is the Black Belt winner of the 2007 World Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship in the rooster weight division. He has won numerous regional and national tournaments in Brazil. Takeo is also a Black Belt winner of the 2001 Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championship. He also placed 3rd in the 2002 Mundials World Championship as a Black Belt in the rooster weight division. He is a Gracie Barra Black Belt under Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhaes. Takeo is originally from Brazil.

With over 500 years of championship experience, the Evolve Instructor Team is the largest and most experienced team in Asia. The Evolve Instructor Team comprises of 43 world-class instructors with world championship titles in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and No-Gi Grappling. Led by Professor Rafael Gordinho and Kru Chatri Sityodtong, the Evolve Fight Team currently competes around the world in events such as the UFC, Sengoku FC, Martial Combat FC, Mundials World Championship, Lumpinee Stadium World Championship, and many others. Evolve MMA to fight in the UFC again

The Evolve Fight Team will be competing in the UFC again at UFC 117 on August 7, 2010 in Oakland, California. The UFC or Ultimate Fighting Championship is the world's largest MMA event. Rafael dos Anjos from Evolve MMA will be fighting against top lightweight contender, Clay Guida. It will be the biggest fight of Rafael's career. A convincing victory will catapult Dos Anjos into the upper echelons of the lightweight division and onto the path for an eventual title shot in the future.

His head cornerman will be Professor Roberto Gordo Correa, the head of Evolve Brazil.

Muay Thai World Champion joins Evolve

Another World Champion has joined the elite Evolve Instructor Team. 4 Time Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion and Muay Thai legend, Lamnamoon Sor Sumalee, has joined Evolve Mixed Martial Arts®. He will be teaching Muay Thai. With over 300 professional Muay Thai fights at the highest level in the world, Lamnamoon is a Muay Thai legend in Thailand and is known as one of the best in his era with victories over many elite World Champions and fighters such as World Champion Samkor Kiatmontep, World Champion Chartchai Paiseetong Sityodtong, World Champion Namkabuan Nongkeepayayuth, Kaensak Sor Ploenchit, Wangjannoi Sor Palangchai, Krekchai Kaewsamrit, Chokdee Por Pramuk, and many others. He is known for his ferocious knee attacks and relentless Muay Thai clinch work.

Evolve wins again at Martial Combat FC

The Evolve Fight Team, Asia's top pro fight team, went 2-0 at the most recent Martial Combat Fighting Championship on July 14-15. Martial Combat FC is Asia's largest and most prestigious MMA event and is broadcast by ESPN StarSports to over 350 million viewers across 24 countries. Under the leadership of Professor Rafael "Gordinho" Correa and Kru Chatri Sityodtong, the Evolve Fight Team delivered 2 submission victories in the 1st round with a kimura by Leandro "Brodinho" Issa and an armbar by Tommy "Sonic" Yang.

Please congratulate Tommy, Brodinho, Professor Gordinho, Kru Chatri, and the rest of Team Evolve!

More Classes Added on July 1

Standing at an impressive 1.82m tall, Hadi Bin Omar is the first Singaporean to be invited onto the prestigious Evolve Fight Team, Asia's top fighting team. Team Evolve goes 2-1 at Martial Combat FC

Congratulations to the Evolve Fight Team on another victorious showing at Martial Combat Fighting Championship, Asia's largest and most prestigious MMA event! ESPN StarSports broadcasts the event to over 350 million viewers across 24 countries. For this edition of Martial Combat Fighting Championship, the Evolve Fight Team won 2 fights and lost 1. Brian "The Polar Bear" Choi and Arthur "GoGo" Cesar won their fights via decision and rear naked choke in the 1st round respectively. Zorobabel "Zoro" Moreira lost via KO in the 1st round.

Stay tuned for next month's Martial Combat FC event where Leandro "Brodinho" Issa and Tommy "Sonic" Yang from the Evolve Fight Team will be competing on July 14-15.

Evolve wins via TKO in Muay Thai

Neelan Hordatt-Reece scored a 1st round TKO victory in Evolve's first ever bout in Muay Thai in Singapore at the Muay Thai Championship Series 3. Evolve Mixed Martial Arts® was only started 18 months ago and is now starting to produce its first batch of competitive fighters. Neelan had zero prior Muay Thai experience before joining Evolve a year ago. Since joining, he has trained diligently almost every day. Due to his natural talent, humility, and work ethic, Neelan was invited onto the prestigious Evolve Fight Team. Neelan is now 2-0 in Muay Thai and trains with the professional fighters at Evolve. Evolve Photo Competition

Due to numerous requests, the deadline for the Evolve Photo Competition has been extended to June 1, 2010. The winners will be announced on June 14, 2010. The 1st Place Prize is a brand new Apple MacBook Pro and a 12 month membership!

Team Evolve wins again!

Under the leadership of Professor Rafael Gordinho Lima and Kru Chatri Sityodtong, the Evolve Fight Team brought home the Martial Combat Fighting Championship Super Fight Title. Mitch "The Dragon" Chilson scored a 4th round KO over the K-1 and Sanda Champion of Taiwan after a brutal war of elbows and submission attempts. Mitch is the newly crowned Martial Combat Fighting Championship Super Fight Champion!

In other fights, BJJ World Champion Leandro "Brodinho" Issa won via armbar submission in the 1st round over one of China's top wrestlers. Meanwhile, Eduardo "Edu" Pachu lost to K-1 Superstar and Muay Thai World Champion Ole Laursen.

Martial Combat Fighting Championship is here!!! Come support the Evolve Fight Team as they do battle against the top fighters in the world. ESPN will be broadcasting it to 350 million viewers across 24 countries. The Evolve Fight Team will be competing in Asia's largest and most prestigious MMA event, the Martial Combat Fighting Championship, at the multi-billion Resorts World Sentosa.

Team Evolve wins again in the UFC

Rafael Dos Anjos from Evolve MMA won his fight at UFC 112 last night with an armbar submission in the 2nd round against highly rated Terry Etim. Professor Gordinho, Kru Chatri, and Professor Gordo were his cornermen for the fight. Dos Anjos trained extremely hard at Evolve Singapore under the guidance of both our Muay Thai and BJJ Instructors.

Team Evolve to compete at UFC 112 in April

The official Evolve Fight Team will be competing again at UFC 112 on April 10, 2010 in Abu Dhabi.

Rafael Dos Anjos from Evolve MMA will be fighting feared Muay Thai striker, Terry Etim. For his final month of training, Rafael has been here in Singapore.

For Muay Thai, Dos Anjos has been training under Kru Toy Sityodtong, Kru Nuengpichit Sityodtong, Kru Chatri Sityodtong, and Kru Saknarong Sityodtong for this fight. For Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Dos Anjos has been sharpening his game under Professor Rafael Gordinho, Instructor Zoro Moreira, and Instructor Leandro Brodinho.

Professor Rafael "Gordinho" Correa de Lima, Kru Chatri Sityodtong, and Professor Roberto "Gordo" Correa de Lima will be cornering Rafael Dos Anjos. They will also be assisting the legendary Renzo Gracie in Abu Dhabi for UFC 112.

More Muay Thai Instructors at Evolve!

Evolve Mixed Martial Arts® is pleased to announce new additions to the Evolve Instructor Team, bringing the total number of instructors to 37 including World Champions in Muay Thai, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and No Gi Grappling. Evolve MMA is the largest and most prestigious MMA academy in Asia.

22 year old Yodkitti Sityodtong currently fights at Lumpinee Stadium and hails from the legendary Sityodtong Camp in Pattaya, Thailand. He will be arriving to join the Evolve Fight Team to compete in both Muay Thai and MMA as well as to teach our students as a Muay Thai Instructor.

48 year old Noi Sityodtong is one of the senior most trainers at Sityodtong Camp in Pattaya, Thailand. He has been with Sityodtong Camp for over 40 years as a professional fighter and trainer of World Champions. He will be joining Evolve MMA as a Muay Thai instructor.

The Evolve Muay Thai Instructor Team is the largest in Singapore and one of the most experienced in Asia (including Thailand) with over 220 years of experience at the highest levels in the world for Muay Thai.

Rafael Dos Anjos, UFC Fighter from Evolve MMA, will be conducting an open workout for the general public in the Octagon Cage at Evolve Far East Square.

Dos Anjos has been training in Singapore for his highly anticipated main card fight at UFC 112 on April 10, 2010. Come see what a UFC Fighter goes through in his final weeks of preparation! Check out the sheer athleticism, phenomenal technique, and explosive power of a world-class professional MMA fighter in the UFC!

For Muay Thai, Dos Anjos has been training under Toy Sityodtong, Chatri Sityodtong, and Saknarong Sityodtong for this fight. For Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Dos Anjos has been sharpening his game under Rafael Gordinho, Zoro Moreira, and Leandro Brodinho.

Special Day at Evolve!

Evolve will be holding a Big Day for its BJJ and Muay Thai students on Sunday February 28, 2010!

Evolve will host a complimentary BJJ Workshop with 6 of its BJJ Black Belts from 10am to 12pm with 5-10 students expected to get promoted to Blue Belt under the Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Program.

Evolve will also host a complimentary Muay Thai Workshop with 7 of its Sityodtong Instructors from 12:30pm to 14:30pm with 10-15 students expected to get promoted to Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4.

To celebrate the promotions of our students, Evolve will be hosting a BBQ from 4pm to 10pm.

Another Master of Muay Thai joins Evolve!

Kru Toy Sityodtong will be joining Evolve MMA on a permanent basis as a Muay Thai instructor. Kru Toy is the son of the legendary Yodtong Senanan, the Grandmaster of the Sityodtong Camp in Thailand. Kru Toy has the distinction of being one of the only instructors in the world that has trained several Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champions as well as top MMA fighters in the UFC. He has trained and coached Muay Thai World Champions like Samart Payakaroon, Nuengpichit Sityodtong, Yoddecha Sityodtong, Detpitak Sityodtong, Chartchai Sityodtong, and a few others. In terms of MMA, Kru Toy has taught and coached Mark Dellagrotte, Kenny Florian, Patrick Cote, and many others top fighters in the UFC.

Kru Toy is a certified senior Muay Thai instructor under Kru Yodtong Senanan.

Evolve BBQ and Rank Promotions

Evolve Mixed Martial Arts will be hosting another special Evolve BBQ for Evolve members, staff, and instructors only. Please note that there will also be Blue Belt promotions in BJJ and Level 2/3/4 promotions in Muay Thai on February 28. We will celebrate those promotions with the BBQ on the same day. Here are the event details.

Team Evolve wins at UFC again!

Rafael dos Anjos, an official member of the elite Evolve Fight Team, fought against Kyle Bradley in a 155lbs match at UFC Fight Night 20 today and won decisively by points with a dizzying display of firepower. Showing an arsenal of skills, Dos Anjos used his newly inherited Sityodtong Muay Thai skills to beat Bradley in the stand up department and utilized his Gordo BJJ Black Belt techniques to dominate the ground game.

Dos Anjos trained at both Evolve Singapore and Evolve Brazil for this fight. He trained under the legendary Sityodtong Team here in Singapore with Nuengpichit Sityodtong, Yoddecha Sityodtong, Chatri Sityodtong, Yodrit Sityodtong, and Daorung Sityodtong. For his BJJ, he trained with Rafael "Gordinho" Correa and Roberto "Gordo" Correa.

Team Evolve to compete at ESPN Martial Combat

Team Evolve has been selected to compete at the inaugural ESPN Martial Combat Fighting Championship at Resorts World Sentosa on May-14-15, 2010 in Singapore. ESPN will make it the largest MMA broadcast in Asia with over 24 countries and 350 million viewers.

Several of our World Champions and professional MMA fighters from both Evolve Singapore and Evolve Brazil will be fighting in the event.
