If you’re tired, frustrated, and/or uninspired, this one’s for you. Yes, you – the one that got sucked into the tornado of negative thoughts and feelings. Right now, everything seems to be going downhill, and you might feel like there’s no way to get back up on your feet again. Not after what just happened. Not after you gave your all but ended up drowning in a sea of disappointment.
At this point, you might be tempted to just throw in the towel and walk away. You look back on day 1 and can’t understand how everything appeared to be so different, so promising. Well, before you decide to give up just like that – hear us out. All we’re asking is for you to just read till the end, and see how you feel.
Okay, so something awful happened at this point of your martial arts journey. Perhaps it’s been a super challenging week where nothing went right, or maybe you attempted something for what feels like the hundredth time but it only ended in failure. Yes, we know it’s frustrating to go through this but believe us when we say that you’re going to pull through this, but only if you’re willing to give yourself the chance to. Think about it: hitting rock bottom isn’t the end – because there’s no way you can sink even lower. Also, the only way to go from here is up.
Not everyone is going to be able to find the strength to press on, in a situation like yours. But we know that you’ve got what it takes to soldier on, and to keep moving forward – because that’s what you do. You’re so much more than what that inner voice of self doubt tells you. After all, you’ve come so far from the beginning, and it definitely hasn’t been easy.
At this point, you have two options. Either to throw this all away and never look back, or to remember that tomorrow is a brand new day to try this again – and then do it all again. Of course, trying it again doesn’t mean it’ll definitely go your way, but if you think about it, giving up means it’ll never go your way. So why let go of something just because things got challenging?
At the end of the day, the ball’s in your court. Your destiny is in your own hands, and you’re the master of your own fate – because it’s your life, and your decision to make. Remember, nothing worth having comes easy. So if you really want to crush those goals and turn your dreams into reality, you have to be willing to put up with the bad days as well. All of us at Evolve Daily believe that you’ve got what it takes to make every moment of your martial arts journey count. The question is, do you believe you do? It’s your move.
