Today, Evolve Daily shares The Most Exciting Moments From The Fighters Competing In ONE: Kingdom Of Champions:

1) Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke

Known to be one of the most aggressive and exciting fighters in the lighter weight classes, Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke is the current ONE Strawweight World Champion. He’s also a 3x Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion, with over two decades of experience in competitions.

Despite being a Muay Thai fighter for most of his martial arts career, Dejdamrong has successfully crossed over to MMA and impressed fans from all over the world with his swift strikes and beautiful technique. We believe that his headline fight against Yoshitaka Naito would be one of the most exciting fights of that night – you definitely don’t want to miss it!

2) Christian Lee

17-year-old Christian Lee might be the youngest fighter in ONE Championship, but don’t let his age fool you! He’s already a multiple-time Pankration World Champion and holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, as well as a Taekwondo black belt.

In just 6 months, Christian has fought (and won) 4 times, proving to be among ONE’s most promising and dynamic featherweight fighters. We’re glad he was added to the fight card at the last minute, because he’s definitely going to blow us away again.

3) Yodsanan Sityodtong

With an impressive professional boxing fight record of 58-3-1, WBA Boxing World Champion Yodsanan “Little Tyson” Sityodtong is known for his monstrous punching power and his 47 KOs. Besides being one of Thailand’s top professional boxers, Yodsanan also has over 50 professional Muay Thai fights under his belt.

When Yodsanan heard about ONE: Kingdom Of Champions in Bangkok, he decided to get back into the ring and put up a good fight in front of his hometown crowd. So expect some impressive striking as he takes on fellow striker Chrech Kosal.

4) Yoshitaka Naito

32-year-old Yoshitaka Naito will be fighting outside Japan for the first time, and for a good reason – he’s facing ONE Strawweight World Champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke in an attempt to clinch the belt for himself. With an MMA record of 10-0 and 4 wins by submission, Naito is probably going to be one of Dejdamrong’s toughest opponents yet.

5) Marat Gafurov

Undefeated with a perfect 13-0 record, Marat Gafurov is the current ONE Featherweight World Champion. He got 9 of his 13 wins by submission, proving himself to be a top notch submission artist. On 27 May, he will defend his title against the Japanese Kazunori Yokota. Psst! This is another fight that you don’t want to miss!

6) Kazunori Yokota

With over 12 years of professional fight experience, Deep Featherweight Champion Kazunori Yokota is definitely a seasoned veteran when it comes to MMA. That’s why it comes as no surprise that he’s fighting for the ONE Featherweight belt in his ONE Championship debut. Yokota is known to be a fierce and tough fighter in the Deep Featherweight division – so expect an intense fight when he faces Marat Gafurov in the cage!

7) Leandro Ataides

ONE: Kingdom of Champions will see 29-year-old Leandro Ataides return to the cage after his last fight in September 2015. Although he lost his most recent fight, he has proven himself to be a dynamic fighter, with 4 previous wins by knockout and 2 by submission. Will he get back on track and make a comeback on 27 May? We’ll see.

8) Rob Lisita

It has been awhile (two years, to be exact) since the Australian Rob Lisita stepped into the ONE cage, after losing to ONE Featherweight World Champion Marat Gafurov. Now that he’s fully recovered, “Ruthless” Rob promises a stronger overall performance as he has sharpened his MMA skills during his time away. We can’t wait to catch him in action as he returns to the cage!

Are you excited now that you’ve taken a closer look at some of the fighters who will be battling it out in the ONE cage on 27 May? We certainly are!
