Jake is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. An NCAA Division 1 wrestler, he has 25 years of wrestling experience in the US. He is currently a professional MMA fighter with ONE Fighting Championship, Asia’s largest MMA organization. Jake has competed at the highest levels of wrestling in the US including the NCAA Division 1 National Wrestling Championships, the Olympic Qualifiers, and the US Open. Jake was also the Team Captain and 2x MVP of the Varsity Wrestling Team at Princeton University. Jake earned All-American honors at the Junior National All-American Championship, winning the bronze medal. In his wrestling career, he has competed against elite wrestlers such as UFC fighters Phil Davis, Jake Rosholt, Chris Weidman, and many others.

Born in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, Jake began wrestling at 8 years old following in the footsteps of his older brother. Jake was a four-year varsity starter on his high school wrestling team. During this time, he won district and regional titles while representing his home state of New Jersey in the US Junior National Championships. In 2001, Jake earned All-American honors, winning the bronze medal at the US Junior National Championships.

Jake continued his wrestling career at Princeton University where he competed against the nation’s top wrestlers at the NCAA Division 1 level. He was twice named MVP of the Varsity Wrestling Team at Princeton University.

As an instructor at Evolve MMA, Jake is eager to share his life long experience as an athlete with his students. With years of championship and competition experience behind him, Jake knows exactly what it takes to succeed in martial arts.
