Chatri is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2019, he has over 40 years of martial arts experience as a student, a fighter, a teacher, and a coach. He holds the rank of Kru in Muay Thai and Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Chatri grew up in Thailand and began his training in Muay Thai at the world-renowned Sityodtong Gym as a young boy. A long-time student of Kru Yodtong Senanan, he has fought professionally in Thailand for the Sityodtong Gym. Chatri’s favorite techniques are the low roundhouse leg kick, the flying knee, and the uppercut. He also loves every type of elbow and refers to it as the single most dangerous weapon in the Art of 8 Limbs. He possesses knockout power in his arsenal. Chatri is a certified senior Muay Thai instructor under the legendary Kru Yodtong Senanan of the Sityodtong Gym in Thailand. He is also a certified Muay Thai instructor by the World Muay Thai Council (WMC).

Sityodtong started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2005 at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City. Master Renzo Gracie promoted Chatri to the rank of black belt after 19 years of training.

Chatri is also certified in both CPR and AED training.

Sam-A is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Sam-A is regarded as one of the best Muay Thai fighters in the world. He is known for his strong defense and counter offense. Sam-A is a multiple-time Lumpinee Super Flyweight World Champion, Lumpinee Bantamweight World Champion, Thailand Super Flyweight, Super Bantamweight, and Bantamweight Champion, and more. He is also the first-ever ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion and the first-ever ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion. With over 20 years of fight experience, he has made a name for himself as one of the top Muay Thai superstars in the world.

Sam-A has fought some of the biggest names in Muay Thai such as Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, Penaek Sitnumnoi, Petchboonchu FA Group, and Singtongnoi Por Telakun, among others.

Sagetdao Petpayathai is a multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion, winning every major title in Muay Thai today. A big Muay Thai Superstar and Legend, he is a 4x Lumpinee World Champion, 1x Rajdamnern World Champion, 2x MAX Muay Thai World Champion, 1x WBC Muay Thai World Champion, 1x WPMF World Champion, etc. Sagetdao has beaten some of the biggest names in Muay Thai such as Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym, Petchboonchu FA Group, Singdam Kiatmuu9, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, Anuwat Kaewsamrit, Nongbee Kiatyongyuth, and many others. He has a professional fight record of 162 wins and 62 losses.

The Thai media voted him as one of the greatest fighters in history. He is widely regarded as one of the most aggressive fighters in Muay Thai history with highly technical knowledge in all of Muay Thai’s weapons: punches, elbows, knees, and kicks.

Penaek Sitnumnoi is a multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion. He is a 3x Lumpinee World Champion, 1x Omnoi Stadium Champion, 1x Thailand National Champion, 1x WPMF World Champion, Channel 3 Champion, Channel 7 Champion, etc. Penaek has fought and beaten some of the biggest superstars in Muay Thai today such as Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Sagetdao Petpayathai, Pakorn Sakyothin, Kongsak Sitboonmee, Saenchai Sor Kingstar, and many others. He has a professional fight record of 67 wins and 20 losses.

The Thai media voted him as Fighter of the Year. He is widely regarded as one of the most exciting fighters of his era.

Drian Francisco is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a WBA Boxing World Champion, WBO Asia Pacific Champion, WBA International Champion, IBF Pan Pacific Champion, and more. Known for his powerful punches and aggressive style, he is an exciting knockout artist. He has fought boxing legends such as Guillermo Rigondeaux and Roberto Vasquez, amongst others, and has trained alongside fellow World Champions Manny Pacquiao and Jerwin Ancajas.

Even though Drian is an orthodox boxer, his strong hand is his left, making his jab, left hook, and left uppercut his favorite punches.

Demetrious Johnson is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore on a seasonal basis. He is the ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion and the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Champion. Demetrious is widely regarded as the greatest pound-for-pound mixed martial artist in history. As the UFC Flyweight World Champion, he broke the record for the most number of world title defenses (11) in the UFC. Known for his speed and explosive wrestling, he has landed the most takedowns in UFC flyweight history. Demetrious is a multiple-time Fighter of the Year Award winner.

In high school, Demetrious was a star athlete, competing in the State Championships for wrestling, cross country, and track. He is also a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Rafael is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore on a seasonal basis. He has been a member of the Evolve Fight Team since 2009. Rafael is a UFC Lightweight World Champion with a professional record of 28-11. He has consistently been one of the top MMA fighters in his weight class around the world. In his quest to keep learning and evolving, he splits his time between Evolve MMA and California for training and fight camps. Prior to the UFC, Rafael was Champion of Fury Fighting Championship. Rafael is also well-versed in wrestling, boxing, and Muay Thai. He has also been a Mundials BJJ World Champion.

Rafael is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Aldo Januario. He is also known for his very aggressive striking style and studies Muay Thai under the legendary Evolve Muay Thai Instructor Team.

Christian Lee is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore on a seasonal basis. Christian is the current ONE Welterweight and Lightweight World Champion, and the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Champion. He is the youngest male World Champion in mixed martial arts history. Christian is a multiple-time Junior Pankration World Champion and was voted ‘Most Outstanding Athlete’ at the 2013 FILA World Championship after winning five World Titles across the disciplines of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Pankration, MMA, and Submission Grappling. He holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and also a 1st degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and TDS. Christian holds the record for most finishes in ONE Championship history.

He comes from a family of impressive martial artists trained by his father who holds Black Belts in three different martial arts disciplines including a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a 6th Degree Hapdosool Master Black Belt, and his mother who holds a 5th Degree Hapdosool Master Black Belt.

Roger Gracie is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore on a seasonal basis. He is regarded as one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legends of all time and is the first person to win 10 Mundials World Championships in the Black Belt Division. He is the grandson of Carlos Gracie, the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Roger is also a 2x ADCC World Champion.

Roger started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a very young age and decided to become a competitor in his teens. Since then, Roger has gone on to compete in hundreds of BJJ matches and has become one of the most accomplished competitors of all time. He is the only Black Belt competitor in the Mundials World Championship to have submitted all his opponents.

With the help of his father, 8th degree Coral Belt Maurício “Maurição” Motta Gomes, Roger established The Roger Gracie Academy in Kensington, London, England.

Roger is the former ONE Light Heavyweight World Champion and a member of the prestigious Evolve Fight Team, Asia’s most decorated professional fighting team. He currently holds an MMA record of 8-2.

Roger is currently a 5th degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, formerly known as Nong-O Sit Or, is considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound Muay Thai fighters in the world today. Nong-O is known for the incredible speed, power and precision behind all his strikes.

Nong-O is a five-division multiple-time World Champion, 4x Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion, 1x Rajadamnern Muay Thai World Champion, 2x Thailand National Champion, 3x Fighter of the Year, and more. He is also the first-ever ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion.

Daorung is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a former Muay Thai Champion in Thailand. He brings over 48 years of professional Muay Thai experience as a professional fighter and as a trainer of Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champions. He has fought in over 100 professional Muay Thai fights. His knowledge of the fight game is unsurpassed. He has been at the Sityodtong Camp for most of his career as a fighter and elite trainer. Daorung is known for his strong low leg kicks and big right hand. Although he is ring-proven, Daorung is also a street fighter with hundreds of street fights to his name.

Daorung is a certified Muay Thai instructor under the legendary Kru Yodtong of the Sityodtong Camp in Thailand. He is also a certified Muay Thai Instructor by the World Muay Thai Council (WMC). He has also taken CPR and AED training.

Kwankhao Mor. Rattanabandit is an Instructor for Muay Thai and Boxing at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a Rajadamnern Stadium Super Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion, Thailand National Super Featherweight Muay Thai Champion, and Toyota Marathon Tournament Champion. As one of the top World Champions in Thailand, Kwankhao has the distinction of fighting Muay Thai legends such as Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Petchmorakot Petchyindee, Muangthai PK Saenchaimuaythaigym, and Phetpanomrung Mor. Rattanabandit.

Fabio Da Mata is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a Mundials World Championship Bronze Medalist with 20 years of experience. Thales Nakassu is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a South American Champion, 3x South Brazilian Champion, and Sao Paulo State Champion with over 20 years of experience. He is also a professional MMA fighter with a 5-1 record. Thales’ favorite submissions are the triangle choke and D’Arce choke. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.

Rodrigo Marello is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, Pan American Champion, and South American Champion with over 10 years of BJJ experience. Rodrigo’s favorite position is the closed guard, and his favorite submission is the straight foot lock.

Rodrigo holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His mother, who was his first instructor, also holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Henrique Almeida is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He has been competing since 2012, and has since racked up impressive wins. He is a 3x No-Gi World Champion, including winning the CBJJE No-Gi World Championship in 2015 and 2021. Henrique is also the CBJJE Brazilian No-Gi Champion in his weight and open class in 2017, showcasing his mastery of no-gi grappling as well as the CBJJE Brazilian Champion in his weight and open class in 2018. Henrique believes in a strong foundation, relying on the basics in competitions, such as takedowns, passing the guard, sweeping, and is always looking for a submission.

Emanuel Rodrigues is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Emanuel was the 2020 South American Champion and 2020 Sao Paulo State Champion. He has also earned silver and bronze medals at the 2021 CBJJE Pan-American and CBJJE World Championship in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Emanuel has over 15 years of competitive experience and favors using the Omoplata in competitions.

Lucas Ribeiro is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Lucas has earned medals in numerous national and regional competitions, such as CBJJ and the CBJJE. Notably, he holds gold medals in two different weight categories within the CBJJ. In competitions, he favors utilizing sweeps and finishes from the back.

Tobbie Lee is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. She is a 4x IBJJF Competition Champion, which includes the Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu Championship in 2016 and 2017, Masters World in 2018 and Masters International Asia Championship in 2019. Tobbie has over 15 years of competitive experience, and favors using the X-guard and Deep Half Guard which she uses often to dominate opponents.

Kelvin Yeo is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He has been competing since 2010 and shifted his focus to coaching in 2015. Kelvin was the 2015 SEAGC 70KG Gold Medalist and also secured a Bronze medal in the Absolute Division during the same competition. He favors using deep half sweeps and armbars in competitions.

Kelvin holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is originally from Singapore.

Paul Lim is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is an IBJJF Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu and JJAU SEA Regional Champion. He has also represented Team Singapore numerous times and won a Bronze medal at the SEA Games in 2019. With over 8 years of competitive experience, Paul believes in having a strong foundation, often using his favorite moves such as K Guard and Pressure Passing to win against his opponent.

Adrian Lee is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore on a seasonal basis. He comes from a family of impressive martial artists. He is the youngest brother of former ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion Angela Lee and ONE Lightweight and Welterweight MMA World Champion Christian Lee. Adrian is a Pankration Champion, State Wrestling Champion, National Youth MMA Champion, GAMMA National Champion, and more. He has competed in and won numerous National, and Regional martial arts competitions, and is currently signed to ONE Championship, Asia’s largest combat sports promotion. Adrian also holds a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Linus Lau is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He has fought Muay Thai all over the world, including in Thailand, Singapore, and Belarus. As a member of the Singapore National Muay Thai Team, Linus won a bronze medal at the IFMA World Muay Thai Championships.

Linus enjoys passing on his Muay Thai knowledge to his students.

Jac Yoe is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Hailing from Malaysia, he is proficient in Muay Thai, Kickboxing and MMA with over 10 years of competition experience. He has competed in multiple state and national competitions in these disciplines across Malaysia. Jac Yoe was the first runner-up in the national selection to represent Malaysia in Kickboxing at the 2022 SEA Games. During competitions, he favors the low kick. Jac Yoe enjoys passing on his martial arts knowledge to his students.

Terence is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Terence started as an Evolve MMA student in 2009 and was part of the pioneer recruits for the Evolve MMA Muay Thai Competition Team. Terence has 17 years of Muay Thai experience as a practitioner and 5 years as a coach. Terence favors knee strikes in competitions and enjoys passing on his Muay Thai knowledge to his students.

Muhammad Ali is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He started his martial arts journey with Silat, and was crowned the National Silat Champion in Singapore in 2012 and 2013. He then moved to Muay Thai and has accumulated over a decade of experience, both as a practitioner and a coach. In the ring, he favors the Muay Femur technical style that relies on high fight IQ, counters and teeps. Muhammad Ali enjoys passing on his Muay Thai knowledge to his students.

Jason Thomas Pillai is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. Jason specializes in strength and metabolic conditioning for martial arts. He graduated from PSB Academy with a diploma in Sports and Exercise coaching, and has a keen interest in mobility work and functional strength. He is also a Progressive Calisthenics Certified Instructor.

Jason is extremely passionate about martial arts and fitness. As someone who has conquered illness with these, he knows the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle firsthand.

As an instructor at Evolve MMA, Jason wants his students to gain functional strength and in turn, have that translate to their everyday lives. He believes that everyone should be strong enough to be in control of his/her own body. He hopes to help his students achieve their personal fitness goals and enjoy themselves along the way.
