The uniqueness of Muay Thai lies in its ability to deal with multiple ranges with devastating efficiency. The Muay Thai kicks (te and thip) are an excellent long range weapon while the Muay Thai punch (chok) is a great mid-range tool. For close range, the Muay Thai knee (ti khao), the Muay Thai elbow (ti sok), and the Muay Thai clinch (chap ko and plumb) are powerful weapons. The ancient art of Muay Thai or the "Art of 8 Limbs" is steeped in rich tradition and Thai culture. Not only is it the national sport of Thailand, but the Thai people call Muay Thai the treasure of Thailand for its significance in shaping Thai history. Throughout Thai history, the people of Thailand have used Muay Thai to defend the borders of Thailand. Historical legend Nai Khanomtom inspired the entire nation by defeating many Burmese fighters and bringing honor to Thailand. Other legendary figures in Muay Thai include Apidej Sit Hirun, Yodtong Senanan, Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn, Samart Payakaroon, Kongtoranee Payakaroon, and many others.

While there are many world championship titles in the sport of Muay Thai, the highest pinnacles of the sport are the Lumpinee Stadium Championship and the Rajdamnern Stadium Championship where the best Muay Thai fighters in the world compete. Out of an estimated 250,000 professional Muay Thai fighters in Thailand, only a few hundred or less than 1% are invited to compete at Lumpinee Stadium and/or Rajdamnern Stadium. International fighters are also invited to compete at both stadiums.

Evolve MMA teaches authentic Muay Thai under teachings of the legendary Kru Yodtong Senanan, one of the greatest Grandmasters in the history of Thailand. Several of his most senior students teach permanently at Evolve MMA, including Saknarong Sityodtong, Daorung Sityodtong, Yoddecha Sityodtong, Yodchatri Sityodtong, Yodsanan Sityodtong, and a few others.
