Gurpreet started wrestling at the tender age of 10, inspired by his father who was also a wrestler. He wrestles in the Greco-Roman style mainly but is now preparing for his MMA debut. Gurpreet is a highly decorated wrestler, having won medals at the national level in India since 2011. Gurpreet is a 5x gold medallist at the Senior National Championship and 2x gold medallist at the Commonwealth Championship.
